We are developing a coalition of true justice seeking attorneys, who will fight hard to ensure our members are treated fairly in the event they are contacted by law enforcement and/or are charged with a crime. The fact that America, the supposed “land of the free,” arrests and imprisons more people per capita than any other country in the world shows that the U.S. has become a police state. 1 in 42 Americans are either in prison, on probation, or on parole. This statistic show how vulnerable American citizens are to losing their liberty at any given moment and as an attorney, you probably know that way too many people are sitting in prison because they were wrongfully convicted, pressured into pleading guilty to a crime they did not commit, or they are serving a sentence too harsh for the crime they did commit.

Because of the vast amounts of pro-state judges who consistently deny well-merited innocence claims, it is almost impossible to determine the true amount of wrongfully convicted people, but we know there are an awful lot of people in prison who should not be there. The problem starts with the sloppy investigations from law enforcement, then once an arrest is made, most Americans cannot afford to defend themselves against the mighty state or federal government. Rather, they must rely on over-worked and underfunded court appointed attorneys and public defenders who rarely have the resources, desire, or experience to launch an adequate defense. In most cases, this leads to the defendant taking a plea deal whether they committed the crime or not. In the cases that do go to trial, many are wrongfully convicted by way of prosecutorial misconduct, abuse of discretion by the judge, ineffective assistance of counsel, trial errors, or constitutional violations.

Because there are so many problems during the guilt and sentencing phases, the courts of appeals are completely swamped with appeals, and wrongfully convicted prisoners must wait years before their appeal can be reviewed. And in most cases, the appeals are heard by pro-state judges who side with the prosecution and affirms the conviction or sentence, despite trial error or constitutional violations. Once their direct appeal has been affirmed by all the courts, some wrongfully convicted prisoners submit a writ of habeas corpus, but it too is usually affirmed by prosecution biased state and federal judges.

This type of behavior by the courts must stop and Motion for True Justice has been developed for the purpose of demanding that these courts and prosecutors be fair, objective, and follow the laws as they are supposed to be followed.

Because so many wrongful convictions start with abuse of power by law enforcement officers and sloppy investigations, if confronted by law enforcement, our members will have immediate access to on-call face-to-face attorneys through our smartphone app and the on-call attorney can respond to the scene of the police confrontation if needed. This will ensure our members’ rights are protected from the start and ensure law enforcement officers do not do anything unethical. In addition, to keep the investigation from being one-sided, Motion for True Justice can deploy their own crime scene specialists and investigators to the crime scene of a crime our members are accused of committing.

The on-call attorney who answers the call will have first rights to represent the member if further representation is needed and will be paid a fair retainer. If the on-call attorney chooses not to represent the member, they will be paid for the time it took to answer the call and respond to the scene.

We also need attorneys in each county to be part of our conviction integrity team. If any of our members are convicted by a jury, the conviction integrity team will immediately attempt to identify trial errors or constitutional violations by reviewing all court records, interviewing witnesses, and reinvestigating the case with fresh eyes. There is no reason it should take ten to twenty years to discover a person had been wrongfully convicted of a crime they did not commit.

You will also have access to our many amenities on our website and in five years of seeking true justice and working hard for our members, we will encourage you to become a partner with us as we grow our client list into millions. As a partner you will not only be compensated to represent our members, but you will also receive dividends, bonuses, and shares in the company. As an additional bonus, we will pay $5,000 for each acquittal or suspension of prosecution. After every ten acquittals we will pay an additional $50,000 totaling a $100,000 bonus for each ten acquittals. In addition, your attorney ratings on your bio-page will reflect you as being a Super Attorney.

We also need attorneys who specialize in post-conviction writs to help get the thousands of people already wrongfully imprisoned exonerated. The Exoneration Team will earn a salary plus commissions on any wrongful imprisonment lawsuit won. Furthermore, we will offer our partners a nice retirement after twenty years of good service.

After retirement, it is our goal to encourage and help our attorney partners become state or federal judges, serve as legislatures, law professors, or other legal professionals. In order to set in motion the needed true justice in America, we need our judges, legislatures, and other politicians in this country to be equitable, to uphold the constitution and laws of the United States, and we know our attorney members who seek true justice will be able to eventually replace the thousands of unfair judges and corrupt legislatures and politicians. When we have thousands of true justice seeking judges, then surely we would not have a person falsely convicted of murder spending 20 plus years in prison. Judges will then be fair and resolve any unjust trial errors or constitutional violations at the lowest possible court, allowing the higher courts to not be swamped with continuous appeals and writs complaining about the lower courts’ injustices.
